Run the following commands to remove Cpremote from the cPanel server:
Make sure to remove the attributes from their internal files:
chattr -ia /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/cpremote/common.php
chattr -ia /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/cgi/cpremote/lib/common.php
chattr -ia /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/cgi/cpremote/cpremote.php
chattr -ia /etc/cpremote/kstatus
Once the above process is done, start the process of uninstalling Cprempte:
cd /usr/src
export VERSION=11.3 # This is the version number of cpremote
wget -N syslintportal.com/downloads/cpremote-$VERSION.tar.gz
tar -xvzf cpremote-$VERSION.tar.gz
cd cpremote-$VERSION
chmod 755 install.py
./install.py remove
cd /root
rm -rf /usr/src/cpremote-*
