Issue
Imunify360 installs successfully, but the plugin does not appear in the WHM Plugins menu. In most cases, the plugin is either disabled or out of sync with the WHM interface.
Resolution
Step 1: Enable the Imunify360 WHM Plugin
Connect to your server via SSH as the root user and run:
imunify360-agent enable-plugin
Step 2: Restart the Imunify360 Service
Restart the service to force synchronization with WHM:
service imunify360 restart
After the service restarts, log back into WHM and verify whether Imunify360 appears under the Plugins section in the left-hand menu.
If the Plugin Is Still Missing
If the plugin is not visible or displays an "Imunify agent is not running" error, regenerate the Imunify360 files by running:
service imunify360 stop
mv -v /var/imunify360/files /var/imunify360/files_backup
service imunify360 start
Additional Information
After restarting the service, allow approximately 10 to 60 minutes for the Imunify360 agent to fully synchronize with the cPanel/WHM interface.
Further Troubleshooting
If the issue persists, collect the following information before proceeding with advanced troubleshooting:
-
Any error message displayed in WHM.
-
Whether the server is running CloudLinux or a standard cPanel/AlmaLinux environment.
This information will help identify any configuration or compatibility issues affecting the Imunify360 integration.
